  • Description

    The Wilo-Control EC-WP is the ideal switchgear for borehole pumps. Depending on the variant, up to two pumps can be connected. Operational reliability is ensured by a wide range of monitoring and alarm functions. This includes separate level measurement for high water and dry-running protection. In addition, the pump can be controlled by means of pressure detection. Modbus RTU makes integration into remote monitoring systems possible and the operating conditions can be viewed at any time.

    Construction

    Switchgear with microcontroller for level-dependent and pressure-dependant control of one or two submersible pumps using analogue or digital signal transmitters. Individual parameters are entered via symbol-based menu navigation and an operating knob.

    Inputs

    • 1x analogue precision input 4 – 20 mA for pressure control with pressure sensor for controlling 1 or 2 pumps
    • 1x digital input for pressure control with pressure switch for controlling a pump
    • 2x (for 1 pump) or 4x (for 2 pumps) digital inputs for a level control device with electrodes or float switches
    • 1x (for 1 pump) or 2x (for 2 pumps) digital inputs for dry run level of the pump(s) with electrodes or float switches
    • 1x digital input for the high water level in the tank with electrode or float switch
    • 1x (for 1 pump) or 2x (for 2 pumps) inputs for thermal winding monitor with bimetallic temperature sensor – connection of PTC and Pt100 sensors is not possible!
    • 1x digital input for external on/off for remote control of the unit

    Outputs

    • 1x potential-free contact for the collective run signal (SBM)
    • 1x potential-free contact for the collective fault signal (SSM)
    • 1x potential-free contact for the individual run signal (EBM) per pump
    • 1x potential-free contact for the individual fault signal (ESM) per pump
    • 1x analogue output 0-10 V for the display of the actual pressure value (only in “p-c” control mode)
