Positive Displacement Pumps
Positive Displacement Pumps
Trebles offer air operating diaphragm (AOD) pumps, dosing pumps, internal & external gear pumps, metering pumps, piston & plunger pumps, peristaltic pumps, progressive cavity, rotary lobe pumps and rotary pumps.
A positive displacement (PD) pump moves a fluid by repeatedly enclosing a fixed volume and moving it mechanically through the system. The pumping action is cyclic and can be driven by pistons, screws, gears, rollers, diaphragms or vanes.
Positive displacement pumps work by trapping a fixed amount of fluid, then forcing (displacing) it into the discharge pipe. They use a rotary, reciprocating or diaphragm method to move fluid.
Applications are found within markets and sectors including Beverage, Chemical, Commercial Building Services, Food, Pharmaceutical, Process and Water & Wastewater Treatment.
