Deansgate Wet Well System Upgrade

Servicing Case Study

The Deansgate Luxury Offices site in Wolverhampton collects rainwater from the building’s guttering, storing it in a wet well before discharging to the sewer system for treatment.

However, the existing ultrasonic level sensor had failed, and the control panel was no longer compatible with modern monitoring equipment.

The Challenge

Without a working ultrasonic level sensor, the site lacked reliable water level monitoring. This created a risk of overflow and reduced the efficiency of the rainwater management system. The client required a modern solution that could provide accurate, real-time monitoring while integrating seamlessly with a new compatible control panel.

Our Approach

Trebles’ engineers removed the failed ultrasonic level sensor from the wet well and installed a new head capable of delivering precise and dependable monitoring. The outdated control panel was also replaced with a modern Pulsar unit, which provides full compatibility with the new equipment. Once fitted, the system was tested and calibrated to ensure accurate performance, with all work completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to site operations.

The Outcome

The upgraded system now provides accurate, real-time monitoring of rainwater levels, ensuring the wet well functions as intended. With the new ultrasonic sensor and Pulsar control panel in place, the risk of overflow has been significantly reduced, while reliability, efficiency, and ease of maintenance have all been greatly improved.

On-site Imagery

The job involved diagnosing the fault, sourcing the right replacement components, and carrying out on-site repairs with minimal downtime. By completing the work quickly and efficiently, we ensured our client could continue to provide a safe and reliable environment for its visitors.

This project highlights our commitment to fast response times, expert knowledge of pump systems, and delivering practical solutions that keep facilities running smoothly.
