The Lowara GHVF series Booster Sets are fully automated and designed for water supply, boosting water pressure, and transferring water within domestic environments. These sets can also serve the purpose of delivering water to fire suppression systems that are compliant with standard BS 9251:2021.
The GHVF series comes equipped with e-SV pumps ranging from 2 to 4 in a vertical multistage configuration. Each pump is fitted with a Hydrovar variable frequency drive, offering individual control to ensure optimal reliability. The GHVF series stands out due to its compact design, enabling installation in restricted spaces.
Programming the GHVF series is user-friendly, with a focus on achieving peak energy efficiency. Moreover, the GHVF Range possess the capability to interface with a Building Management System (BMS) using either Modbus or BACnet protocols. Notably, the GHV series has obtained WRAS certification for its compatibility with potable water.
Additional features and functionalities to align with BS 9251:2021 include:
- A dedicated “Fire Mode” guaranteeing uninterrupted flow to the fire suppression system, in the event of a fire
- Lockable / removable isolation valves
- Individual fused pump protection
- An extra volt-free contact for “fire mode” enabled condition
- Panel indicator lights indicating Pump tripped, Low water, and “Fire Mode” enabled condition
- Power supply and fused protection for optional solenoid recirculation line
