Coronavirus Update
Having successfully worked through the first lockdown, our team are now rehearsed in remote working and were relevant a core team of individuals remain working from our national distribution centre in Wolverhampton, along with at branches in both the north and south offering localised stock holdings.
Safely Delivering ‘Business as Usual’
Where necessary priority will still be given to key workers – Including the NHS, care homes and production plants, who provide critical essentials such as food and medicines. – However rest assured, our stock levels are high and our committed workforce are here to do all within their power to deliver ‘business as usual’.
£3m Stock Holding
Whilst overseas lockdowns may have a knock-on affect to our supply chain, we do have the backing of over £3,000,000 worth of stock held in our national distribution centre in the West Midlands.
Along with a warehouse full of stock to call from, we have also raised additional supplier orders to try to ensure we maintain the highest levels of availability for a sustained period of time.
Trade Counter Remains ‘Open’
Our Wolverhampton trade counter operates from the same site as our national distribution center – therefore we can offer goods for collection when needed urgently.
We are also offering collection sites at both our Derby and Uxbridge branches. – Please call in advance for stock levels.
Please note though, to ensure the safety of our employees and to limit face-to-face contact, no member of the public can enter the trade counter area – instead we request customers phone from our car park, where goods will then be brought outside.
The Technical Expertise to Offer Alternatives
We all know that 9/10 there are alternative products that will do the desired job, rather than just replacing like with like. Due to overseas lockdowns, should situations arise where exact like for like replacements can not be sourced, we have the technical knowledge to offer alternative products to still give the solutions you need. – We provide technical solutions, not just product.
Where absolutely necessary, our technical teams are also able to attend covid compliant job sites to specify products for jobs, particularly for bespoke fabrication work. – This will be judged on a job by job basis.
