    Construction

    Hydraulics

The outlet on the discharge side is designed as horizontal flange connection. The maximum possible dry matter is 8 %. The following impeller shapes are available:

    • Vortex impeller
    • Single-channel impeller
    • Multi-channel impeller

    T motor

Surface-cooled submersible motor without cooling system for wet well installation. The waste heat of the motor is dissipated directly to the surrounding fluid via the housing parts. The motor itself is dry. Permanently lubricated rolling bearings are used as motor bearings. The connection cable is longitudinally watertight and has bare cable ends. Depending on the size and the motor power, the motors can be installed dry in short-time duty.

    FK motor

Self-cooling submersible motor with active cooling system for wet well and dry well installation. For cooling, the motor is filled with medicinal white oil. An impeller on the motor shaft allows the coolant to circulate continuously. The cooling flange transfers the waste heat to the pumped fluid. The cooling system itself is not pressurised. Permanently lubricated rolling bearings are used as motor bearings. The connection cable is longitudinally watertight and has bare cable ends.

    FKT motor

Self-cooling submersible motor with active cooling system for wet well and dry well installation. The separate cooling system is filled with a water-glycol mixture. An impeller circulates the coolant continuously. The cooling flange transfers the waste heat to the pumped fluid. The motor compartment is dry, and the cooling system itself is pressureless. Permanently lubricated rolling bearings are used as motor bearings. The connection cable is longitudinally watertight and has bare cable ends.

    Seal

All the motors have a sealing chamber to protect the motor from fluid entering through the seal on the fluid side. The sealing chamber is accessible from the outside. On request, the sealing chamber can be monitored with a pencil electrode. Fluid-side and motor-side sealing is possible in the following versions depending on the motor type:

    • Version H: Mechanical seal for the fluid side, rotary shaft seal for the motor side
    • Version G: Two independently-acting mechanical seals
    • Version K: Block seal cartridge with two independently acting mechanical seals

    Operating fluids

All operating fluids are potentially biodegradable and harmless to the environment:

    • White oil
    • Water-glycol mixture (water-polluting class 1 according to VwVwS)

Motor efficiency classes (based on IEC 60034-30)

In addition to the standard motors, IE3 motors are also available. The motors are based on the same design as the standard motors. This means that the motors are identical in terms of equipment and function.
