Pumpgard Strainer

As a boat owner, it’s important to prevent debris from entering your water pressure and washdown pump. Your water pressure pumps should be protected by a strainer on the intake side that stops small material from getting to your pump and damaging it. The Jabsco Pumpgard strainer prevents particles from jamming valves and causing pump breakdowns. The Pumpgard is engineered with a screw-off, transparent housing for easy inspection and quick, in-place cleaning and is available with various mesh options, including: 

• 10 mesh – a very coarse mesh, acceptable for washdown applications
• 20 mesh – typically used in open flow applications such as spigots and garden spray nozzles
• 40 mesh – best for fine spray nozzles, high pressure applications, sink faucets, and shower heads
