• Description

The Flygt N 3202 medium capacity wastewater pump series is an efficient and reliable choice for transport of complex wastewater media. These pumps are available with premium efficiency motors, in explosion-proof versions, and for both dry (T, Z) and submersible (P, S) installation. Flygt N 3202 pumps can be produced with N-impellers in Hard-Iron, grey iron or stainless steel.

    Self-Cleaning N-Technology Hydraulics

Flygt’s industry-leading N-impeller delivers clog-free pumping and sustained energy efficiency in today’s challenging wastewater applications.

Most solid objects entering the pump will pass through the impeller between the impeller vanes. If an object gets caught on the leading edge of one of the vanes, it will slide along the backswept shape toward the perimeter of the inlet and be guided out through the relief groove. Non-organic, stringy solids are no match for Flygt N-technology. That means higher efficiency and fewer unplanned pump call-outs.

Due to the mechanical self-cleaning impeller design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped.

    Hard-Iron Impeller for Corrosive Applications

Flygt Hard-Iron N-impellers were developed specifically for tough wastewater applications. While hardened grey iron impellers are suitable for typical wastewater applications, the Hard-Iron impeller provides superior wear resistance for abrasive and corrosive applications. Flygt’s Hard-Iron (60 HRC) impeller has demonstrated five times greater wear resistance compared to standard grey iron material.

A duplex stainless steel impeller is also available, for applications requiring a high resistance to corrosion.

The replaceable impeller wear ring is available in both grey iron and Hard-Iron.

    Advanced Closed Loop Cooling

Flygt N 3202 pumps come standard with an advanced closed-loop cooling system suitable for dry, partially submerged, and fully submerged applications. Our system uses a precise mixture of pure water and a proprietary polypropylene glycol formulation. It has excellent heat transfer and corrosion resistance properties and is freeze-proof down to -45°C.

    Robust, Highly Efficient Design

Each component of the Flygt N 3202 pump series has been designed and manufactured to contribute to your pump’s long-term reliability and efficiency. The pump’s modular design means the pump can be tailored to the specific requirements of the application.

    • Self-cleaning N-technology impeller in hardened grey iron, Hard-Iron or duplex stainless steel
    • Replaceable wear ring in grey iron or Hard-Iron
    • Chopper ring for wastewater applications with long fibers and other hard-to-pump solids
    • Short shaft overhang, reducing shaft deflection and increasing seal and bearing life
    • Motor designed for submersible use, with Class H insulation and heat losses concentrated around the stator core for improved cooling properties. Option to upgrade to IE3 comparable premium efficiency motor.
    • Cooling via internal closed-loop cooling, direct cooling or for warm-liquid applications, external cooling
    • Flygt Plug-in seal with Active Seal system for greater sealing reliability and zero leakage to motor. Available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC)
    • Flygt Spin-out seal protection option to prevent seal wear caused by abrasive particles
    • Inspection chamber and built-in sensor for early leakage detection
    • SUBCAB® motor cable specially developed for submersible use
