Not all wastewater is created equal. And not every pump can rise to the occasion of complicated wastewater challenges — like processing fish waste, silage or liquid manure. That’s where Flygt F3171 comes in. It’s a pump that enables key industrial activities to continue without being derailed by wastewater issues. With special features like an optional cutting knife and an upgraded design, it’s reliable and has an increased lifespan even in the harshest of conditions.

Flygt F3171 is specifically designed to handle wastewater that contains high levels of dry, solid content and long, fibrous materials, such as stringy fabric, feathers and fish residue, in the following applications: waste product from fishing industry, poultry industry, food waste, heavy and light manure, biogas production and paper industry.

Improved design

What differentiates Flygt F3171 from other products is its shaft protection and hydraulic components, the efficient combination of the S-shaped impeller, pump housing cover with back vane pattern and the inlet suction cover. An optional cutting knife is also offered, which is mainly used in the fishing industry. The product also features clutch coupling to prevent the pump shaft from becoming damaged in the case of serious clogging.
