IT’S NOT THE AGITATOR
It takes more than just an agitator in direct contact with solids to move them into suspension for subsequent pumping. The real hero is the water jet created by the vanes on the end of the agitator that, when directed downward, force the solids into suspension.
Agitators can be added as an option to most Flygt 5000 series pumps, enhancing their ‘cleaning’ radius for settling slurries.
